whitelion   10 #1 Posted May 7, 2018 Tuesday 8th May: Electric Blues Jam Hosted by Michael Beety and Chillo Angelini of Laughing Gravy, our twice monthly Blues jam is a tour de force of blues and blues rock. Accompanied by Sheffield's best blues musicians this is one not to miss - 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month  What's more, it's our Sheffield CAMRA pub of the month presentation - come celebrate with us with music and some rare beer.  9pm, free entry.  Wednesday 9th May: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize.  £30 + more to be won!  Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner.  9pm, 50p entry  Thursday 10th May: Jam Night Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield.  Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more.  Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry  Friday 11th May: Rib Eye Rib Eye are practically aSheffield super group who play Power rock, pop and Indie. Think Inxs, Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Prince and many other great artists.  Making their first appearance at The White, we're expecting them to blow the roof off.  9.30pm, free entry  Saturday 12th May: Harmony Of Spheres Back for the first time this year. after a brief hiatus, it's the ever amazing Harmony Of Spheres. An evening of Pink Floyd, Rush, Genesis, Marillion and more! Re-created faithfully occasionally with their own signature feel. Almost definitely the only show of this kind.  9.30pm, free entry  Sunday 13th May: The Sunday Jam Hosted by The Carnival, the Sunday afternoon rock jam is back once again - 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
