This is America.

I really don't know what to make of it. Lyrically it's no public enemy or even dead prez. the video is kind of interesting, but initially I didn't get the lorry load of hype attached to it, I'm still not sure I do.

But it's still rattling round my head.

Andreas Grosser - Venite Visum (recorded back in the late 70s by East German synthesist who collaborated with Klaus Schulze on the album Babel; now reissued on the Running Back label. Great old (Berlin) school synth music.)

Laetitia Sadier - Something shines (jangly avant-pop from former Stereolab frontwoman)

After a few decades, I thought I'd give Red Krayola's 'Parable of Arable Land' another spin. I'm warming to it.

Stuck in another 65daysofstatic binge at the moment. They are so good it is hard to imagine listening to anything else, although I will at some point of course. Giving The Fall of Math a particular caning; 14 years on and it still sounds incredible.
