I need a new electricity supplier.

I'm sick and tired of Southern Electric not sending me bills and then sending out a debt collector, adding charges and all sorts of other fun things after I spend my time chasing them to send me a bill in the first place.

This has happened three times in a row now and I'm about ready to kill all of them.

So who should I go with?

I'm sure there's something about this address that messes with electric companies full stop.

I was with British Gas and they didn't send me a bill for a year and then decided I was £160 in credit with them. That was never sorted because I had my meter changed twice in that year as another company had no record of the first meter being changed.

What it did mean was that British gas had more than likely over charged me by £160 the year prior to that.

Can nobody just read the meter and send out a bill anymore?
