Yesterday my great friend and true gent Leslie Martin sadly passed away outside Hillsborough after the game.

He was the nicest guy you could ever wish to meet and he loved Wednesday, you fly safe Les pal I'll never forgot you brother xxx

sorry to hear that Corks, R.I.P

My missus is close friends with Michelle, Leslie's cousin, and grew up knowing Leslie very well, I met Leslie loads of times and he was, as has been said, a true gent with a smile on his face always.

His passing will leave a massive hole in his family's and close friends life, such was his character.

RIP Leslie.
