walkertelecoms   16 #2 Posted November 14, 2017 Hi Sorry for late reply :/  A replacement Humax 9300t you can pick up off ebay for anything between £30 and £100 so I wouldn't bother getting yours fixed. Easy to setup. Mines been working great for around 15yrs now.  You need that aerial cable replacing though, give JAMES at Aerials Above a call:  http://www.aerialsabove.co.uk  07766 256034  https://www.facebook.com/aerialsabove/  He is exceptionally good.  ---------- Post added 14-11-2017 at 14:17 ----------  This one looks exceptionally good condition, if a seller still has the original box in pristine condition, the set top box probably will be neat and tidy too.  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Humax-PVR-9300T-Freeview-Digital-Recorder/112637053245?epid=2255387477&hash=item1a39b1093d:g:OVIAAOSwnk9Z4Nt0
 Share this content via...
Hera   10 #3 Posted November 14, 2017 Thanks Does your box sometimes seize and need re-starting by switch off / on .. or take ages to react to remote control ?
 Share this content via...
walkertelecoms   16 #4 Posted November 14, 2017 Hi Hera  No not really, wonder if that could be a result of the slow ingress of liquid into the system? Cable damage letting water in is a pretty slow event usually. Could also be the result of a bad signal due to unfit cable.  If there's water in the box, please make sure you kill the power to the box at the socket before handling it. walkertelecoms   16 #6 Posted November 14, 2017 Hmm I think mine was 2nd hand off Ebay but unused. I can't honestly remember. Overall the box runs slower than my TV (not smart) so only really fire up the Box for Netflix and OnDemand. Assume you do the same.
