top4718   838 #61 Posted November 11, 2017 Potential potential potential. Most players who are going to make it at a top team will be well on their way by around 21, usually. There are exceptions to the rules of course. But all the players you have mentioned are all over 25, with the 2 owls closer to being 30. That would suggest their future is around the top end of the Championship and lower end Premier League.  Brooks can have a fantastic future, but he will get out of his career what he is prepared to put into it. His feet are that good, I don't think any of the 3, nor other players in the league can match this. His close ball control is absolutely unreal.  But of course, where Bannan and Lee excel in the more defensive side of things, Brooks does not have that in his game, nor does he need it.  When an exciting players comes along, people should wax lyrical where appropriate. Brooks is an exciting prospect.  Fair comment but look back at the exciting British prospects of recent years, they tend to look amazing but then don’t actually improve and eventually go backwards, Brooks looks reasonable at the moment but has a long, long way to go to really make the grade. stpetre   12 #62 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) You would think the English and Scottish FAs would reconsider as they can't win bugger all in any other international events.  Well you're right as Scotland have never won owt and the 'Home internationals' should be England, Scotland (pink shirts not allowed), the Isle of Man, a Channel Islands combined team and side made up of Isle Of Wight bus drivers. The final being played in Gibraltar to ensure a nice sunny day out. Edited November 12, 2017 by stpetre Add
 Share this content via...

But his attitude looks good, he is getting game time at both club and now hopefully country. For me that's the important side of things.  It will be a shame if he goes the same way of many other prospects.but I feel he is currently at the right club to nurture him and give him what he needs.
