Sheffield Wednesday v QPR 12/08/17

Recommended Posts

QPR provide the opposition for the Owls opening home league match, the games been made important due to the shocker at PNE last week and QPR began with a good win, did the double over these last season with the home game being a dominant performance despite only winning 1-0. CC will have some selection choices after the league cup display.

2-0

I'm expecting to see a masterclass from the midfielders, and some artistic goals from the strikers

A win for Wednesday, 3-0

He got a knock in the cup game Ian, nothing serious but might keep him out today.

Showed in the midweek match that we can do it when the leash is off, no doubt todays opposition will be tougher but play as we did midweek and i see no reason not to be getting our first points on the board. Would hope CC keeps more or less the same side with just Westwood and Loovens getting recalls. 2-0 Owls.

Just can"t wait to see the side he picks today,as he is under loads of pressure, and he caused this by buying and keeping players we really didn"t require

Who are the players he's kept that we don't need?

No manager is under pressure after one league game.

I am expecting to see rough house tactics from the QPR players today, ie all piling up the pitch to bundle the ball over the line, a bit like Wimbledon about 25 to 30 years ago

And a matador/bull approach from the Owls
