Preston NE v Sheffield Wednesday 05/08/17

First games of the season are always hard ones to call as the opening day has a tendency to throw out some freak results, Preston kicking off the season with a new man at the helm (Alex Neil) to try and kick on from the good work of Simon Grayson. SWFC have been slow starters last two seasons despite winning the opener.

I'd probably have to go with a draw, never know with these though.

I'd pretty much agree with that selection, a shame Wallace misses out though.

swfc we need to win first 12 matchs or at least not lose and then we can progress to be winners of the league,but the new problem is we have to sell before we buy as we are at our limit.

Reading between the lines i feel we have players who are not 100% fit, so i can see the team looking something like. Dawson

Does Steve May play for Preston?

If so he could have a point to prove, so maybe a painful afternoon for Wednesday?

If May is playing it could be a 3 goals for him and numerous assists, wouldn't like to predict this one but expect a Rugby score

If May isn't playing then expect a 1-0 win for Wednesday
