Jim Hardie   496 #1369 Posted September 13, 2018 Don't be too surprised if these two get bumped off.  a) Dead men tell no tales. b) Punishment for bungling the mission and a warning to the next Russian hitmen. c) James Bond gets the blame.  Very convenient. I agree, it wouldn't be a surprise if their friends recommended they visit a Russian cathedral and the two died in a road accident on their journey.  The two tourists have more to fear from the Russian authorities than the British authorities. Robin-H Â Â 11 #1371 Posted September 14, 2018 I thought their story that they ventured into Salisbury originally but only stayed an hour because it was snowy and slushy rather hilarious. Â They are used to a Moscow winter, but run from the terrors of a Salisbury spring.
 Share this content via...
alchresearch   206 #1372 Posted September 14, 2018 All the way from Russia to visit Salisbury Cathedral. No mention of Stonehenge which is only a 20 minute drive from Salisbury and much more famous.  They tried to go but found it "slushy". So they went back to their country which is pretty much snow and slush.
 Share this content via...

Robin-H Â Â 11 #1374 Posted September 14, 2018 Walking in frozen snow in Moscow is a lot more pleasant (and drier) than walking in dirty wet slush in Salisbury. Â Moscow is used to slush - end of March/April Moscow is typically full of dirty slushy melting snow. It is hardly credible that they travelled all the way from Moscow, but decided not to spend more than an hour in Salisbury because of weather that they would be more than used to back home. Jonny5 Â Â 10 #1375 Posted September 14, 2018 Walking in frozen snow in Moscow is a lot more pleasant (and drier) than walking in dirty wet slush in Salisbury. Two men in their 30s from a country with some of the foulest dirtiest weather in the world go half way across Europe for a mere 2 days holiday but lose one of the days because the slushy weather puts them off! Â Ok comrade, whatever you say....
 Share this content via...
alchresearch   206 #1376 Posted September 14, 2018 Hate to cite the DM in anything, but their list of ten flaws is pretty good:  Ten GLARING flaws that blow a huge hole in Russian hitmen's bizarre account of their trip to Salisbury https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6166093/Ten-GLARING-flaws-cast-huge-doubts-poisoning-suspects-claims-Russia-TV.html  1. What about the Novichok found in hotel room? 2. Why stay in East London anyway? 3. Their complaints about the snowy weather 4. Wrong direction for visiting cathedral 5. No pictures of them visiting cathedral 6. Bus tours to Stonehenge were NOT cancelled 7. Airport entry photo 8. 'Fake photos' proved real 9. Bad timing 10. Two return flights and the missing luggage
 Share this content via...
Phanerothyme   12 #1377 Posted September 14, 2018 It's almost as if the Russians didn't want us to believe them ... it's almost as if they were brazenly flouting international laws and conventions, because they want everyone to know that these laws and conventions simply don't apply to them.  They invented fake news, and are 10 years ahead of Trump on that score. They create realities, to avoid being subject to them. All very skillful, but when your highest executive is composed of ex-intelligence officers, it's sort of what you'd expect? And they'll lap it up.
 Share this content via...
