New parents looking for baby groups - S6 area

We are quite new to the Stannington area, and we are the proud parents of a 12 week old baby boy but we are looking for activities where we (together or individually) can meet other parents and make new friends. I have looked and there is some outdated information about a couple of playgroups in the area, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

I'm not sure of any that run in the school holidays, but the one at St Johns on Forbes road (back of Witherspoon's) is a lovely baby group. Its Tuesday mornings, then when the baby is a bit older, there's a toddlers group on Thursday. Very friendly. If you want the number of the girl who runs it let me know
