Dickensian. The BBC at its best.

What a wonderful series this was.

Brilliant acting, gripping plots, perhaps even surpassing Dickens himself. it was a great idea to use Dicken's characters in new storylines, but at the same time keeping the spirit of Dickens alive.

My only criticism is that the BBC spread it over 20 episodes, with weird changes in the time slots. I hope that, if there is a series 2 (and there ought to be) that the BBC gives it better scheduling.

Sounds great. hope it gets to Canada soon. Love Dickens, especially his characters.

Dickensian was superb - there were enough unresolved elements at the end, when coupled with the fact that they don't have to stick to the original stories, to provide for a second run.
