ez8004 Â Â 10 #14 Posted November 18, 2017 Some broadband providers also give antivirus software as part of the package. BT Infinity give what they call BT Virus Protect which is the retail version of Mcafee. So check that out. Â Also, Windows 10 comes with antivirus and a firewall now as part of the OS. I recently installed Windows 10 Pro and found it to be quite effective. Obviously a lot less resource intensive when compared to the third party products. ElasticMan   10 #15 Posted November 19, 2017 do i need to purchase anti virus software for mac book pro  Probably not. The chances of coming across Mac malware are incredibly small, and even then unlikely to work if you have kept your system up to date.  However there are free versions you can use. The Sophos one seems fine. Certainly no need to pay for anything more than that.
 Share this content via...
julado   10 #16 Posted November 24, 2017 Just use the Microsoft stuff and keep away from dodgy porn sites.  Or.....get rid of Microsoft and go over to Linux. No AntiVirus needed.
 Share this content via...
