We lived at 122 Stonecliffe Rd from 1956 - 1965

Our names were `Pickford & Oxley´, I think 126 were `Beech´

Did anyone know the Broughtons? There were tons of them. Barry, Keith, Gary and loads more, all lived on the Circle. Their dad was a builder I think. They went around with Mick Rooker and some others.

Living on the Manor was fantastic with all kinds of people .all the lads went on the field on sundays for a game of football without fail.then the Shop opened wher everyone met to chill out.Remember the Manor Carnival with loads of competions like 5 aside football tennis then a massive parade.Im still on the manortoday but i can say 1 thing its nothing like what it was. Who remembers the Grand National on Desmond cres when you went diving over the privets on peoples gardens. Vinager Lill stood at the phone box asking fo money and crying but if you didnt give her anything she would swear at you lol what a great time with great people

My mother lived at 155 Hastilar road until the council knocked all the houses down. I lived there from birth to getting married in 1961.
