dclawson   10 #1 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) Hi,  I noticed recently that I have a nail in my 18" car tyre.  Seen as it's sunday tomorrow there are not going to be many garages open.  The tyre will be flat tomorrow so i will need to buy a pump kit or change the tyre to get to a garage.  Where would be the best place to take my car that won't rip me off? I live in Walkley so not looking to go too far.  If i will be getting ripped off I may be able to take monday morning off work to get this fixed at a last resort.  Thanks for help with this. sparklygem   10 #3 Posted November 13, 2010 Kwik Fit at the bottom of Ecclesall Road? They fixed the OH's tyre when it got a nail in and I'm sure he took it there on a Sunday. Not sure how much it cost though  ------  There is one on Penistone Road, the number is 285 4595 so you could give them a ring in the morning and see what they say
 Share this content via...
dan2802 Â Â 53 #4 Posted November 13, 2010 I think you are stuck with Quik Fit or Charlie Browns both of which (in my experience) would rather sell you a new tyre rather than repair one.
 Share this content via...

Unregistered   10 #12 Posted November 14, 2010  Took mine to Hi-Q with a nail in the tread, said they couldn't repair it.  Not all tyres can be repaired - that's the law.  Good to see that Hi Q do comply with the law.  Tyre repairs must comply with BSAU159f:1990.   Nice one Hi Q . . .
