Robberies Hillsborough 07/04/2018

There has been another robbery in Hillsborough this morning

Both Ramsdens and Cash Converters were involved

Armed Police were on the scene. Far end of Taplin Rd is closed.

Car, has crashed. Policeman at scene said, the occupants had been caught

Saw cars about an hour ago, feel sorry for the owners of the parked vehicles

sounds a bad one , saw armed cops Think one of the Culprits was caught at back of towsure after crashing car on taplin rd

its on the star website,he sounds a right idiot,nearly got caught doing the first one then drives round the corner and does another one for some cheap gold ,

How can they? police got them, will probably release on bail, then 6 months to a year! police are not going to stab him with screw driver!!

Think deeper! if you was homeless! If he gets away he might have a few thousand to spend, if he gets caught he will have warm room and 3 meals a days. miles better then sleeping rough and not knowing when next meal might be coming from

Odds are the attempted robber was an addict desperate for money for a fix.

The sooner we treat addicts as sufferers of an illness rather than criminals the better.

Utter nonsense. They are treated as criminals because they have committed a crime. There is plenty of support available to addicts to help them break their addiction. If they choose crime instead of this support then they should suffer the consequences.
