Does this mean that they can not be expected to do another job afterwards?  ps. not a personal question directed at you, just a general observation. Does this mean that they can not be expected to do another job afterwards? ps. not a personal question directed at you, just a general observation.  I remember when Johnny Haynes captain of Fulham and England was given 100 quid a week and the world of sporte went crackers. Most top footballers at that time were making about twice a skilled tradesman's wages, and plenty thought that was disgusting for only working on a Saturday afternoon.
