Back in 2010/15 you could quite rightly use the phrase 'the three main parties', but people might no longer know which was the third party.

 

They are still the third party, but a lot smaller.

i thought the third party was the SNP, or am i wrong?

Sir Nick decimated his Party, they are now as bad as the Greens, a set of nit wits and numpties.
