What is equality to you?

Doesn't alter that it's pornographic and not suitable for the workplace does it, particularly where customers might see it.

So you consider it pornography to see lasses posing topless.

Have you ever been to the Spanish resorts where it is the norm for both sexes to sun bathe without tops or perhaps you may have seen certain travel programs on T.V. where the norm is for both sexes to be semi naked in every day life .

Are these people deemed to be in pornographic poses in your eyes or are they just doing what comes naturally to most of the World population .

Are you claiming that topless calendars aren't pornographic? And thus should be allowed in the workplace?

BTW, do you know in what industry is the largest gender pay gap? Porn industry. Why this is never mentioned?

What is pornographic about a lady showing her bare breasts ?. or perhaps a male model doing the same in a woman's fashion shop .

Please explain .

I can refer you to the definition of pornography. Beyond that, perhaps you should ask your parents to explain, you know, have that chat.

pornography

pɔːˈnɒɡrəfi/Submit

noun

printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate sexual excitement.

In case you were going to claim that breasts aren't sexual

If they weren't those calendars wouldn't exist, they exist purely for the purposes of titillation.

You're quite obviously trolling as nobody would reasonably contend that topless calendars aren't soft porn, but hopefully that clears it up for you anyway.

Would you describe the Venus De Milo as pornographic?

That's an entire topic in it's own right.

Nobody described the HR department banning topless statues though, so not really relevant.

Are you disputing that topless calendars ARE pornography?

"Pornography" is too strong a word. Titillation is what most people would probably describe it as. Its all semantics I suppose; one persons titillation is another persons pornography.

I have to tolerate religious imagery around me all the time. I work with people of different faiths and have to look at crosses/stars/religious clothing... however, you can bet if I proclaimed to be a Satanist and started bringing in images of inverted pentagrams and goats etc. it would not be tolerated and would be deemed as offensive.

That, to me, shows that equality is a subjective term...

I think we're vering into Art vs Porn here, which has always been a contentious issue. Context is important. There's a place for Art and a place for Porn, and most people acknowledge the boundaries.

The human body can be very beautiful, both male and female. But that beauty can just 'be,' or be 'used' for different purposes. Titillation is one of them, and that is very borderline.

Would a man like to enter an all female workplace, to be confronted with pictures of full frontal, large and erect, gorgeous male Adonis, that the women drool over, and weigh him up against?

Not nice really is it?
