Hobbies near the Town hall and the Hobbyshop on Shales moor.

there was a shop called hobbies in fitzalan square and one near banners down the cliffe that sold loads of airfix

Hobbies was in the Peace gardens opposite the town hall..it was another toy shop in fitzallan Sq

I bought most of mine at Woolworths originally. The Airfix ones were in a plastic bag with a folded over cardboard top showing a picture of the enclosed kit. If I remember correctly, I think they cost around half a crown (twelve and a half pence).

Kenyons at Firth Park. Also lots of Corgi and Dinky cars, it was a great little shop.
