4 wins from 6 is not a bad start in the toughest league in world football:)

Seriously though i think we are a class striker away from being half decent.

'Seeing' as they hadn't won in 2017.

Most of their 2017 games were in the Premier League and they're still finding their feet in this League. Everyone knows traditionally, Sunderland is a hard place to go to.

That said, I'm not surprised that United are doing pretty well. As I said pre-season, 18 players all fighting, all as one, with a 'we must win' attitude, are going to be some sort of a force in any game.

I reckon Sunderland will regroup, and will be up there at the end of the season.

Great win for United.

The Tanker is steaming on. Confidence is booming.

A good place to be.

A better game from our boys as well today. Much better.

Maybe our Tanker will be getting up to speed now? I hope so.

Sunderland won one of their last Premier games away at Hull City, which sent the Tigers down who could have got out of it. Those clubs, along with Aston Villa are in the hands of ruinous, baneful ownership. Sheffield United will finish above all three of them and that's from an Owl.

got some very good players not just battlers

250 mile round trip but worth it.

Very one sided game and the lucky, consolation goal flattered Sunderland. We must have had 65-70% possession?

What a handful Donaldson was today.

I listened to most of the game on RS. Both first goals were errors in defence but it sounded like Wednesday missed a hatfull of chances before the goal came. Also if I have my game chronology correct, Lees goal-line clearance saved you from going behind?

Did sound more like the Wednesday of 2015 - 2016 though.

The possession stat doesn't surprise me given the way we play and the Sky reporter who was giving regular updates on TV, but BBC stats had us as having only 46%. Any thoughts ?

Only hope Donaldson isn't injured
