boncurz   10 #1 Posted September 6, 2017 My second hand laptop did not have an activated operating system so foolishly I purchased one from ebay. Needless to say it hasn,t worked and it has deleted everything on the laptop. I have a key for windows 10 pro but because the OS wasn,t activated it wouldn,t let me update. Would anyone loan me the installation disc or does anyone know what I can do besides having to purchase from Microsoft? Ghozer   112 #2 Posted September 6, 2017 If you have access to another computer, and a USB stick (minimum 4GB) you can use the microsoft download tool, to download (legally) a windows 10 install, to either an ISO on your computer, or a bootable USB stick...  Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10  click "Download Tool Now" - open it up, and follow instructions, it's not difficult to follow
 Share this content via...
