Music by Doug Church-blew me away

Has anyone got anything by Doug Church. I came by this track on You tube and the song (which sounded more like Elvis than Elvis does) just blew me away. It has to be the nearest thing ever to the king.

Being a retro dj that always ends up having to play bassline, I love stuff like this.

A mate of my used to guitar in the Steve Denton band. The late Steve Denton was sheffields answer to Elvis in the 60-80s when he sadly passed away. My mate has played me tapes of this guy who sounds very authentic.

That establishes that there is some recorded stuff around from the guy. I will look out for cd material-i feel sure that there will be some.

Steve Denton was ' Mr Sheffield Elvis ' ...I remember as a kid seeing down on Attercliffe at the Station pub when Sammy had ...and also when I was growing up on the Wybourn estate at the windsor hotel ....Great memories an amazing voice ....r.i.p. Steve cheers - K
