The planners, a fascinating program

I came across a program called The planners which caused me to go to the catch up service to watch those that I'd missed. A real eye opener to the way planners get it in the neck and a lot of time it's the planning members who are councillors who should shoulder some of the blame for poor planning decisions. I've often noticed threads on this site berating planning and so think this program could be expanded to show more of the work done by highway planners and other planning officers.

I've watched all of the programmes and it's been an excellent series, hope there are more in the pipeline.

Only caught it accidentally this week and it was very good.

I enjoyed this series too.

The inner workings of these type of departments fascinate me, maybe I'm a frustrated civil servant deep down inside!
