Connect laptop to tv

when you hook the laptop up to you tv it you laptop should prompt you to weather you want to use it as dual screen or use it as the main screen as it comes up on mine andi set it to dual screen its pretty simples. Good Luck also if your wanting sound through your tv rather than the laptop u will also need an Aux Cable with a Headphone jack on the end.

and the simple question is

you are selecting the right channel on your tv ie: av1 av2 etc

once you connect your tv, right click on your desktop, choose properties, settings then tick extend my windows desktop to this monitor then if playin a movie left click and hold screen and drag to the right which will then appear on your tv

or if you wanna see your icons dont tick it just tick use this device as the primary monitor.

as for sound you will need cable from headphone socket

as for the sound cable.......you can make your own, for next to nowt, an old pair of headphones and a cable with the red and white plugs on the end, chop both ends and join the wires, its easy peasy lionel squeasy, and u wont blow yourself up get a shock or damages either the laptop or tv by doing it that way
