Msn trouble logging in

I had the same problem a couple of nights ago and it kept going off line and throwing me off! It was at it for hours, in the end I gave up went to bed sulking!(sad or what)

I was on msn for an entire 40 minutes a few months ago, id almost bloody forgotten what it was like.

try using a different client like gaim.

 

Is that supposed to be better? :)

Im not sure, I was chatting to Geoff and the damn thing just worked perfectly.

I could fix it I suppose, but I just cant be arsed at the moment.

depends what you mean by better. its not got as many "features" but if you use msn simply to chat then yeah, its better. cleaner interface, no adverts, stable, smaller install, etc.

 

it will connect to msn, yahoo, google talk, etc.

Gaim is my first choice for multiple messenger logins, or try aMSN....Both better than MSN.

For anyone who is having trouble logging into MSN Messenger Live or 7.5, it is most probably an issue with Zonealarm if you have it installed. That is the paid version, I don't think its a problem with the free one.

Zonelabs are aware of this and are supposedly working on a fix for it.

 

The problem also causes uses pictures not to show when logged in (after shutting ZA down to log in then restarting it afterwards).

 

If you are having problems and you don't have Zonealarm installed, gawd knows :)
