it was left to a young couple a year or so back and gone downhill ever since,

hardly any beers in and not a very nice feeling to the place, really hope somone is going to come in to turn it around because it really could be a great boozer in the right hands

That pub was a brilliant meeting place if you were on your own someone would always join you in a real friendly place. Not now its an eyesore. Its gone the way of a lot of old fashioned pubs.Sad.

Still more life in the place now than when it was a pub though.

Can l just say that the Hollin Bush pub on Hollinsend Road is just great now with its new landlord and bright outlook. The price of the beer has gone DOWN the pub looks smarter and the atmosphere is friendly.

Support your local. Get down there and puy a pint.

We lived on Ridgehill Avenue when I was a kid and we used to visit this place all the time in the summer, then walk down to the Royal Oak and Noah's Ark.

The beer gardens were always packed.

Let's hope it stay's open!

I really would go down and buy an pint...if they'd had some cask ale as well as the usual keg offerings.
