Oddgitt   10 #13 Posted November 4, 2009 If it wasnt a strategic publicity stunt timed to perfection, which i have no reason to believe it was, then i think its wonderful. Old Boris has done something which the majority of good hearted (and brave may i add) people do.  Boris for PM in my book ..........imagine that?!!!  He'd get my vote
 Share this content via...
Phanerothyme   12 #14 Posted November 4, 2009 He may be an incredible bafoon, but it is hard not to love BoJo.  His bufoonery is carefully crafted, make no mistake.  He's undoubtably a decent chap, and this episode shows that. An arch tory nonetheless.  Similarly This is an outrageous slur on my character, of course I have taken drugs!
 Share this content via...

spindrift   10 #17 Posted November 4, 2009 Absolutely. He's an extremely clever bloke, who doesn't take himself too seriously and doesn't mind being thought of as an idiot.  Clever blokes don't usually get sacked for lying. Twice.  If this story is true then fair play, but Boris has been a DISASTER for London, a major embarrassment and it's getting worse, he's reversed the pedestrian/cyclist friendly policies of Ken, made London more dangerous and seems content to only turn up for photo opportunities, like this made-up story pr exercise.
