Christmas & New Year : Goes on too long and too many bank holidays ?

Best: abolish all Bank Holidays BUT give employees (by law) eight extra annual days' holiday.

Let them take these when they wish- e.g. as addition to normal holiday weeks, or on what used to be BH, or whenever they want.

 

I effectively get that, because my team works on bank holidays. Only get slight choice about BHs as there is a minimum staffing level

Doesn't change the fact that the rest of my family are off over Christmas!
