A Christmas Carol - Lantern Theatre 8th-17th Dec

A Christmas Carol

by Charles Dickens

8th-17th Dec / 7:30pm / £8

Performed by The DGP

The DGP are proud to present their all new, wildly irreverent take on Dickens’ Festive classic. Christmas Eve sees all round bad egg Scrooge visited by three spirits, who attempt to show him the error of his ways and accept Christmas into his heart. Scrooge is whisked away on a freewheeling journey through space and time, revisiting the wrongs of his past and witnessing their consequences in his future. Can the spirits change Scrooge’s ways? Can he repair bridges long burnt? And what has all this got to do with cheese?

A mischievous reworking of a Yuletide staple featuring a massive cast playing multiple parts, live music and some weird and wonderful dance numbers, A CHRISTMAS CAROL promises to be a raucously funny end to the DGPs Autumn/Winter season.

Thanks to all the cast and backroom for giving us an enjoyable start to the Christmas festivities.

Thought the homage to Rosencrantz was inspired.
