Dirty Little Secret (DLS) New Year

CADS Snow Lane

Jan 1st 2012 – 12.30am – 8am

£10 advanced tickets – ResidentAdvisor.net, Golden Harvest (The Forum) Cremorne Pub (London rd)

New Years is a night for the rave.

Dirty Little Secret is only 15 months old and is yet to see in the New Year in style. Following other DLS events it’s been made abundantly clear that if you’re looking for a proper party, then look no further. Welcome in the New Year and spend the early hours bringing in 2012 with heavy electro beats.

Each room will be a link-up between two Sheffield crews, each armed with high quality sound (by the Danger Noise), their own brand and strength of underground grooves plus all the charm of DLS’s Snow Lane lair.

Rooms on the night will be inhabited as follows:

Collect! vs The Camouflaged Disco

As ever we at Collect will be throwing out our blend of cutting edge underground ‘techno and house for the people’. The legendary Camouflaged Disco will be our temporary bedfellows as they add their usually outdoor based house and breaks to the mix.

Itchy Pig Records vs Frozac

New and burgeoning local label Itchy Pig Records will add a bit of groove based disco diversity along with Frozac who are also well known for their eclectic selections making this what we’ve coined the happy party room.

Tinnitus vs Room 303

Tinnitus celebrated five years of ear-splitting savagery earlier this year in this very venue. Regular co-conspirators Room 303 also like it pretty big and hard so this one could be a bit of a fiery area.

Full line-ups will become available shortly but it’s not really about that on this occasion. We’re not booking any Collect main room type guests although there will be a sprinkling. It’s just about throwing a party for our people and team DLS making an attempt to relax for once!

To make the bleak mid-winter a bit easier to swallow we’ll be heating the spaces and providing hot mulled wine to keep the chills away.

To step away from the overpriced tradition of New Year’s parties we’ve stuck what we hope you agree is a reasonable price tag of £10 (adv) to this. We won’t be hiking up the drinks prices either!
