I enjoyed that. Football is much better when the opposition bring plenty of fans and refs allow a little physicality.

At two down, I feared a cricket score, but we dug in really well and showed plenty of character. Bannan’s free kick was something else.

The Stoke fans were class too. Noisy and supporting their misfiring team. Respectful too, especially in the minute’s applause.

A good day out.

The open top bus is still parked on Wilders drive pal, dem Blades have got it on a long term lease or summat ;)

Stoke looked a class apart for good periods of the game, not seen a side come to Hillsborough and look so dominant for quite a long time in a league game, they could have been out of sight at half time, and this time last season we would have lost that game, but yes a good fightback considering. Only Joao and Bannan looked comparative in quality for Wednesday in the first half. Second half Wednesday competed a bit better and created a couple of chances we could have done better with, Stoke opened us up a few times again and but for some good defensive blocks could have extended their lead, but that free kick from Bannan was just what we needed to smash and grab a point.
