Sounds like it is kicking off in Mansfield

Recommended Posts

Apparently after the loss, Forestieri has punched one of their players and run off. Supposedly sparking a mass brawl.

Oh dear.

Has the season started?

Still, it's nice to see the digs going in early, bit surprised a mod started it though!

Meh, friendlies are friendlies. But yea it was a decent draw considering the team they put out.

The loss for you guys, is nothing more than just a friendly.

However, the fight is interesting. No digs. It's merely a mention of the stuff that is happening in Mansfield that is noteworthy.

To be honest, the 'shenanigans' sounded the best part of the game :hihi:

Hearing further details it would seem he got punched in normal time and followed it on after the game.

All coming from owls fans and saying it could be a decent sized ban.

These games are normally non-descript, so it's always good to have something to talk about

Any disciplinary action from friendlies does not carry over to the season proper since around 1995. Sounds like handbags and nothing to really bother about.

If it is deemed violent conduct, the FA can ban you for whatever they like, friendly or not.

He got a yellow and a Mansfield player got a red I'm told.

That was for the incident during the game, by all accounts.
