Eater Sundae   12 #1 Posted September 8, 2017 My daughter's iphone has developed a problem with the touch screen. An area about 1/4 inch wide at the side of the screen (the right hand side when in portrait mode) is unresponsive.  Can anyone recommend somewhere to take it for repair. Also, if it is a common problem, any idea of likely repair and cost. Also if there is somewhere that might be able to do it while you wait.  Thanks
 Share this content via...
Marx   10 #2 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) I got a screen replaced at the technology park in town. Took an hour. My daughter should have some detail as it was her phone. I will ask her.  These are the people who can fix your phone: http://www.macrepairsheffield.co.uk/iphone-repair-sheffield/ Edited September 8, 2017 by Marx
 Share this content via...
Ghozer   112 #3 Posted September 8, 2017 First thing to do is to try a reset, if it's only in portrait mode (and that same area works when in landscape) then it could be some app or something else causing issues...  if the area doesn't work in either, then a replacement screen/digitizer would be required.
