And I think they handled the "he who should not be named" topic very well, mature with no funny jokes - particularly Paul Merton who said people had come up to him and asked him why he was lying about a particular hoax script which is doing the rounds.

It's not really a topic to joke about though, is it? Anybody who did try to joke child sexual abuse away would go down in my estimation enormously and I'm sure that I'm not alone in that.

 

People like Frankie Boyle are probably preparing material about it already

I am looking forward to seeing the more unedited programme. Not for any jokes, it just helps put the whole programme into context. And the sort of quips the HIGNFY team make are typical of British humour in times of crisis, not the cruel 'point scoring' humour of Boyle and his ilk

I think that this is a dig at me refusing to allow people to use threads about Jimmy Savile to start mudslinging at each other to the point that legal threats have been issued.
