Serious incident in Barnsley town centre 08/09/2018 - Woman charged.

Does anyone know what is happening in Barnsley. On the BBC News Channel it’s saying South Yorkshire Police is responding to a serious incident in the town centre?

BBC News has just said theres 'Unconfirmed reports of a stabbing'.

Saying a woman attacked someone with a knife or machete near the bus station

Doesn’t look good early days yet to get a picture of what’s happened.

Many of the crimes that are rising are as a result of things such as poverty, drug dependency, homelessness and mental health which have got worse over the years and will take years and huge investment to improve.
