Goodbye Elm Tree

Recommended Posts

Grown men watch in silence as if they were at an funeral . They remember the good times they had in the rooms now open to the sky's

Laughter and tears were once heard in these rooms stories of heroic feet's made taller by the pint served by an busty barmaid who knew the customers so well as if they were family.

The men watch as the jaws of death send another brick wall over the rubble hitting the bar a familiar place to the watchers who stand in silence watching their second homes death. They watch has an JCB tears down the pub sign ' Elm Tree' hits the ground with an bang indeed the Elm Tree has now truly fallen.

So farewell old friend you will be missed .

That's very good, and needs just a little bit of work to become a poem!
