Looking to camp in North Sheffield any ideas?

Recommended Posts

We are looking to stay over in North Sheffield, but there seems to be a lack of places to park our Camper Van. Any ideas of any where, it doesnt have to be a recognised site, we dont mind roughing it for a few days. It just needs to be level..ish, and accept dogs.

Thankyou for that link, We have Stayed at Greenhead house Farm, but unfortunately it is far from flat, even with our wheel wedges, we couldnt get our van level. Apart from that, it is a lovely area, the owners are very friendly, and it it was flat, we would stay there every time. We are looking at the Windy Hall Farm, that is the nearest to our family, so we will try that one soon. Thanks once again.

Unfortunately we are not members of the Caravan Club, we prefer to be with Camping and Caravanning Club as we have an old VW Campervan. We have found the CC are not too keen on our hippy rig. But thank you for the information.

You might be sorted now, but we've stayed here before in our (enormous) Motorhome - basic site, but is pretty level, has toilets and showers with lovely walks through rivelin valley https://www.foxhaggfarm.com

Thanks for that link, I have just had a look at their website, looks good, we will certainly check it out. Its not that far from Stocksbridge, so could be ok for us, although we would prefer to be closer to family.
