2015 has been a busy year for exclusive member events

10 pin bowling, Introduction to Crown Green Bowling, Lunch with Entertainment, Brewery Trip with pie pea supper as well as Day Trips coastal walks Bempton Cliffs to Flamborough, Whitby, Cleethorpes to weekends away Anwick Northumberland including Lindisfarne to Walking Holiday in Gran Canaria..... Exclusive Xmas Party dinner dance as well as other exclusive quality events.

Exciting plans for 2016

Including Flamborough, Whitby, Landudno weekend in North Yorkshire basing ourselves in Pickering, Walking holiday in Italy or Grease maybe both?.

Sheffield Shamblers is a totally voluntary run organisation with no outside funding, a one off joining fee of just £2 at the start of your first walk makes you a member, all our walks are free, we have a 50/50 raffle on each walk which is not compulsory to have a go, the registration fee and 50/50 fees cover printing, web hosting, and subscriptions to mapping sites, any surplus funds goes towards subsidising of social events, trips, walking holidays, relaxing holidays exclusive to to our members, we also make a donation to a charity every year out of surplus funds chosen by our members. We have 6 people on the executive committee who are walk leaders along with a further 20 walk leaders who are all trained to ensure a safe walking experience to our members. Safety is paramount with our organisation with every walk recc!yd so we can give an accurate description and make aware any hazards that maybe on route. We hope to see you on a walk soon, the countryside is a beautiful place to explore.
