Â I wouldn't be suprised if there wasn't a price increase say around Chiristmas time. Â For the past couple of weeks I've noticed my download speed has increased to around 60-Mbps, don't know about cloud storage because I don't use it. Â Anyone else had such an offer? "As you've been a BT customer for some time...." Correct. Well over 25 years. "Let me just look at your account...and contract..." You'll have a job. My contract with BT expired over 3 years ago. Then, of course, came the real reason.... "We offer a good deal on BT TV. What sort of programmes do you watch?" BBC. News, mainly. Two hours a week, maximum. "You watch TV for only 2 hours a week?" Correct. "You get free weekend calls on your existing contract..." Like I said, I'm not in contract. "Just looking at your account....Ah...I see you rarely use the phone...less than a pound during the last quarter....You might be interested in BT Mobile, then...." No. I don't have a mobile phone. Â I haven't had a phone call from BT, however looking over the emails for the past few months: Â 19 May 2017 BT upgrade offer to Infinity-2 02 June 2017: I could have a 30% discount on the BT TV top package 15 August 2017: free BT Sport offer ended 09 Sept 2017: I could claim a free BT Sport offer 18 Sept 2017: free BT sport offer ended (again???)
