Connecting Epson Stylus printer to iPad

How hard is this folks anyone know? I've had a look on Google, went way over my head.....thanks for any help

This was a long thread which did go to show it is not easy unless the Epson printer is a wireless device.

@ Mrs Overall - did you get this sorted out? You didn't say whether your printer was wireless. I have just bought a new wifi Epson printer to replace my wired one. It doesn't have AirPrint but I have downloaded the iPrint app from the store (free) and it works perfectly.

If yours is wired then I apologise but this won't be of any use to you. I don't know if you could connect a wired one so that is one of the reasons that I've replaced mine, which is a shame as it is working ok even though it is coming up to 8 years old.
