dinofan   10 #1 Posted June 19, 2018 Right, this is getting really frustrating. Ebay item dispatched by royal mail first class signed for on Friday 15th and still no show. When I track it it says they have the item and its on its way. Usually I receive 1st class next day but this is just getting beyond a joke.  Has this happened to anyone else? And is it quite normal for this to happen?
 Share this content via...
ll49 Â Â 10 #2 Posted June 19, 2018 I paid for a first class signed for delivery a couple of months ago and from the date of posting it took 10 days to get to me!! Ridiculous!
 Share this content via...
ez8004 Â Â 10 #3 Posted June 19, 2018 First Class isn't guaranteed next day delivery. If you want that then pay for Special Delivery.
 Share this content via...
jane2008 Â Â 15 #4 Posted June 19, 2018 We had a parcel sent to us that we could track. It was coming from Ingoldmells to Sheffield. Â At one point the parcel had landed at Heathrow airport. It took around 7 days to get here. Â It was first class and signed for.
 Share this content via...
nikki-red   295 #5 Posted June 19, 2018 (edited) Theres no time scale guarantee even with first class. I recently had a letter take 5 days.  Ive also had hundreds come/get delivered when I expected them to.  No service is perfect, but like everything we only notice the times that its not. Pyrotequila   362 #6 Posted June 19, 2018 Is it definitely located in the UK? I've seen so much stuff lately on eBay that says it is located in the UK, but the seller information is located in China, so the ETA dates can be really erratic
 Share this content via...
dutch   68 #7 Posted June 20, 2018 We don't get mail delivered every day of week anymore and question their "attempt" at being rockhard 24 hour with a first stamp. Personally don't blame them as their portion of the market has dropped significantly. There is still one person on this world I exchange long handwritten letters with but that's not enough for mail to keep rolling like it used to.
