Christmas tree shock

Recommended Posts

Tradition states that the Christmas Tree & Decorations should be put

up after noon on Christmas Eve.

The Fairies are supposed to do it when the children have gone to bed

on Christmas Eve, but this is just a myth as are Fairies in Sheffield.

Can we still call them Christmas Trees or should it be Festive Trees ?

I put our tree up on Christmas Eve and take it down after dinner on Christmas Day.

when i came home from work my daughter had put up the christmas tree all decorated with the lights on it was a shock to the system

At least she saved you the job of doing it yourself. Is she free around the beginning of December to pop around my house and do mine for me?

A notable thing about the 12 days of Christmas is that none of them are in November

That said we'll probably put our tree up first or second week of December

We'll probably aim to do that, miss it and end up scrabbling around for the last few trees left on sale like we always do.

My mum put ours up in August before I went to Afghanistan.

She left it up till after Christmas, saying she couldn't be bothered to do it twice in a year
