New skatepark near endcliffe park ?

Hi

I have heard through a friend recently that Sheffield has a new skatepark on the build in a park near Endcliffe Park on Eccesall Road.

Does anybody have any confirmation that this is true ?

Also anybody know any more information such as the builders company, any plans , actual location of the new park ?

As a keen skateboarder for many years in Sheffield we are in desperate need of a new skatepark as devonshire green is now old and dangerous as it is falling apart due to the foundations sinking !!

ask the parks dept 0114-2500500 they will tell you or mr pullin with the fair area in endcliffe park as hes a councillor if that helps you.
