Calahonda   11 #2 Posted August 1, 2018 It’s the post funeral booze up and feed capital of S17, particularly since the demise of the Beauchief Hotel. It has never recovered from the loss of it’s student trade since the closure and demolition of the student accommodation tower on Totley Hall Lane. The once hugely popular Fleur de Lys is now apartments and the Cricket Inn is 95% a restaurant, the Crown is nothing like it’s past glory under the Harrops, and the truly awful Shepley Spitfire is now the top pub in Totley. One of which is obviously an advert. I was born a day that ends in Y, it wasn't yesterday.
 Share this content via...
jemson   10 #4 Posted August 8, 2018 I`ve always quite liked the place fwiw. Don`t get up there too often but hope it does well. Totley does struggle for pubs. The Summerhouse seems to get really busy.
 Share this content via...
