Sheffield golfer Danny Willett wins the Masters golf!

Feel free to move if not in the right area, but it's great to see a Sheffield sportsperson doing well. Danny Willett has just come from nowhere to beat the best golfers in the world, and become the Masters champion at Augusta.

Congratulations to him, seems a nice bloke too!

So proud of this lad from Sheffield ! What a beautiful golf course and wonderful weather. My sister is lucky enough to live in Georgia, a few miles away from the course!

So the winner of the golf is born in Sheffield and lives in Rovrum, which is next door, and the runner-up from Worksop, which is almost next door.

I claim the Masters in the name of Sheffield! Incredible turnaround yesterday.

Well done to Danny who honed his golf at my old club Bondhay----so Augusta would be a steady knock after Bondhay-well done again also to Matt Fitzpatrick and Lee Westwood and the other 2 English golfers making it 5 Brits out of the top 10
