Lost property in black cab, who to contact

Hi Does anyone know a number to contact regarding lost property in a black cab taxi. The 01142720000 does not connect. Thanks

Drivers are supposed to hand in lost property at the nearest police station, but if the driver doesn’t notice the lost property it comes down to the honesty of the next passenger unfortunately.

If you know the licence number or registration number of the cab you can contact the Councils licensing service who can then contact the driver to try and help at Licensingservice@sheffield.gov.uk

You need to report your passport as lost ASAP - https://www.gov.uk/report-a-lost-or-stolen-passport

Also try South Yorkshire Police as lost passports are one of the items they will still accept.
