Mick McCarthy set for owls job

Recommended Posts

You Wednesdayites are annoying me. If you beat the Blades tonight, Jos will be a GOD !

That’s what I like about Unitedites. They always know so much about Wednesday. That’s all they think about. And don’t deny it.

And aren’t you lot getting a bit ambarrassed now by Wilder droning on and on all the time about wages etc etc etc? His post match ramblings last night showed him as bitter and angry I’m afraid.

Last nights Owls team cost just over £6 million, so Wilders comments were wildly wrong.

Sir Alex came across like that a lot of the time, Wilder is a serial winner, and I'll take him rubbing fans up the wrong way at times if it means we continue to be good at football.

The rumour mill is suggesting that Steve McLaren could end up at Hillsborough.

He's already turned them down once, as replacement for Carlos, so I don't think that one has any truth behind it.

He wasn't approached, Jos was highlighted early due to his Doyen sports connections, as will be the next manager!

But the only person who seemed to have been rubbed up the wrong way was Wilder himself. No class I'm afraid and just comes across as a mardy child. I'm not saying he's not doing a decent job; just needs to stop trying to make out he's a victim all the time. He really doesn't need to.
