I1L2T3 is on hackey’s ignore list.

Why else would hackey miss a post that was made SEVENTEEN HOURS earlier ?

The comment from I1L2T3 was made after Anna B, so it can’t be the comment that Anna was referring to when she said they had already provided answers, which is what Hackey Lad was originally questioning.

Labour's anti-semitism continues to plague:

Labour antisemitism code could breach Equality Act

Labour has been warned that its antisemitism definition could breach the Equality Act, as the party battles to contain the fall-out with Jewish members over its new code of conduct.

You seem very keen to keep turning this into a Conservative thread Anna.

Lets put it right on track with some other LABOUR news stories today I'm sure you're keen to deflect with a similar Tory one rather than answer....

Considering the state the Tory party are in, and the fact that it affects all of us, not just Tory supporters, I wonder you are not expending your energies on the Conservative party thread, rather than just trying to malign Labour.

Sharing factual news articles is counted as ‘maligning’ now? Or perhaps you don’t think they are factual, they come from the evil press after all..

The impression I get is he’s more anti the Israeli state (in its current form) and pro-Palestinian rights.

That’s not an unreasonable position to take. But in this current political landscape of entrenched polarised views perhaps that’s a bit too nuanced.

There’s a couple of sides to this.

MPs are not delegates. We have to hope that the four Labour MPs voted in line with what they believe is best for their constituents and the country. I think they’re misguided but if they are following that guideline then I’m ok with what they did.

The subtext of this was trying to force a vote of no confidence and an election. There’s a febrile atmosphere, like it or not the harder forms of Brexit still command strong public support, and the Tory hard right are firmly on the front foot. I don’t want Rees-Mogg, Johnson or Gove either as PM or leader of the opposition. We’ve avoided that so this was the right outcome....for now.

sorry i cant agree with you on that, it may have led to the downfall of this terrible government, the likes of Mann has kept them in power to sow more misery on the poor, the best thing we could have hoped for was a downfall of this government and a socialist replacement that represents the 99% not the 1%

I'd agree with that, especially the nuanced bit.

However it's a pity that supposedly intelligent people can't see it, or perhaps I should say, choose not to.

Conflating the two things is a complete nonsense.

There are many Jewish people inside and outside of Israel who both criticise the State of Israel and support Palestinian right's. Trying to portray them (or anyone else doing that) as anti Semitic, is ridiculous.

I tend to agree that the whole thing does seem to be orchestrated by the right wing of the Labour Party in collusion with Zionist elements in the London Jewish community.
