Wednesday back on Radio Sheffield

So did Wednesday accept the 10% fee cut?

They thanked the BBC and said it was in response to their fans wishes, do you really think they will be getting more that the rest of the league?.

Hmmm...

... the U-turn was in response to their fans wishes?

So if you believe that one, you have to accept that up until the BBC called their bluff the club clearly had no idea of their fans wishes and assumed that they would happily pay for a service that was previously free.

It's obviously just a convenient excuse to try to save face and get the fans back onside after yet another money-grabbing scheme has been highlighted...

It was raised quite vociferously at the last Steering Group meeting according to records so they did know, whether thats the sole reason we'll never know.
