Where do you do your weekly shop?

Recommended Posts

Let's say it is complicated:

Fresh stuff and most meals at Waitrose.

Stocking up at Morrisons.

Booze where the best offers are.

Mooch at Aldi, detest Lidl.

Detest Sainsbury's with a passion though, very expensive and usually not great quality.

Ocado bring mine to me, cos I can't get around a shop any more.

Ocado here as well.

Spending up to an hour going around a supermarket with two toddlers every week isn’t exactly time we’ll spent. Get it delivered to your door and put it away in under 5 mins. What is not to like? Not to mention they price match Tesco so they are not as expensive as people think.

Aldi for me with a few exceptions where i prefer "branded" goods (yes, i know they are branded at Aldi but im talking the more mainstream brands). 90 quid spend at Morrisons is about 50 at Aldi.

Aldi. It's the cheapest place and quality stuff, people just need to get through the snob quirk

Its only cheapest for the stuff they stock and if you like the stuff they sell.

Aldi for most things, we like the products and it saves us a lot of money.

Morrison's, ASDA or Co-op every so often if we need something and Aldi is closed or we're passing. Also for odd bits that Aldi just don't stock (random stuff like guacamole or whatever)

A mix. Aldi for the basics. Booths for things which are a little nicer tasting.

Aldi sausage rolls are disgusting, for example.

Yep, I've found the ones you bake yourself much nicer.

We do the main shop on the same day of the week due to work but occasionally we might just decide to do the main shop whilst we are out and about, main shop at Asda but will use Sainsburys or Tesco if we are out and about nearer to one of their supermarkets.
